Lenovo has been offering deep discounts throughout the summer on some of our favorite laptops. This week, the flagship Think X1 Carbon laptop and ThinkPad X1 Yoga two-in-one each have models discounted by more than $1,000. The Yoga C940 and C740 models — both of which made our best laptops of 2020 list — are also marked down. A few other discounted ThinkPads caught our eye, as did a high-powered Legion gaming laptop.

You’ll also need to give up your 4K dreams, which isn’t all that big a deal on a 14-inch display. This model features an eighth-gen Core i5 CPU, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It’s not quite as thin and light as the X1 Carbon but still very portable at less than 3.5 pounds. Lenovo isn’t likely the first name you think of when it comes to gaming laptops, but its Legion line of mobile gaming rigs offers stellar performance for less than competing systems from brands that are better known among gamers. Lenovo has a Legion Y740 laptop (model 81UH0000US) currently marked down to a reasonable $1,660 — no code needed. It supplies a 15.6-inch display with a 1,920×1,080-pixel resolution and a speedy 144Hz refresh rate. Inside you get a ninth-gen Intel Core i7 CPU, 퍼스트카지노 16GB of RAM and the GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. The RTX 2060 is the entry-level card in Nvidia’s current RTX lineup and offers excellent value along with support for ray tracing, which reproduces how light behaves in the real world to give games a more photorealistic look.
