The Course

Peterstone Lakes is a stunning golf course of the highest quality. Opened in 1990 and complemented by a superb clubhouse, Peterstone Lakes has now become one of South Wales favourite golfing and social venues for a variety of occasions. The golf club has been under family ownership since December 1998 (P W Millar Golf Ltd).

Remarkable changes and improvements have taken place in the Club house and on the course over recent years. Lakes have been extended, new bunkers built and ditches filled in and grassed over. These changes make for a more interesting, fairer and challenging round of golf. Peterstone Lakes has something to offer everyone whether you are a complete beginner or an established player.

Peterstone Lakes is an excellent 6,000 metres (6,600 yards) par 72 course which deserves its reputation as one of the best around. To complement the course there is a practice field, putting green, nets and practice bunkers. We have a well stocked, professionally run Golf Shop which has golf buggies and trolleys for hire at very competitive rates.

P W Millar Golf ltd has committed heavily to Peterstone Lakes Golf Club by purchasing four new Toro green keeping machines.

We have purchased a new Groundmaster 4700d rough cutter, a Reelmaster 3100d tee and surround mower and two Triflex 3400d Greensmowers.

The two greens mowers are the next generation of machine and are the top of the range, providing a superior cut and finish, creating the ultimate putting surface.

Peterstone Lakes is the first golf club in Wales to acquire these machines. The overall rrp price of these machines is £145,000 proving Peterstone Lakes is determined to be one of the best golf courses in Wales.
